Barbara

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: Extremely neat, well kept clean CG. Needless to say not many trees but that’s normal for this area. Very nice people who own/manage. Shower room large and clean. Only down side was neighbors (or campground, not sure which) had light on a flagpole and RV light on all night long. Shined directly into our eyes!

Bill

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: Very clean, level site, store. Right at the entrance to Badlands NP. Staff was friendly and very helpful Great view of the Wall from the campground. If you are there on Thursday, do not miss the country fried steak at the gas station, while it last!!!!

TinkersToy

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: Reasonably priced Nice conveniently located campground for the BadLands NP. We spent two days with full hookups. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They serve a good breakfast and have well stocked store. The laundry area is clean and convenient. Would stay here again.

Mike D

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: We have stayed here for 8 days and have enjoyed this campground immensely. We drive a 37 foot motorhome towing a car. All of the sites for motorhome and trailers are pull throughs and every site was immaculate, well spaced and up to date with full hookups. The only issue was the placement of the sewer hose hookup which was slightly uphill, but with a little imagination and placement it was not an issue. The location of the campground is perfect if you want to explore the Badlands National Park. The campground is located on the same road that goes to the entrance and is about a mile to the gate. There was very little traffic noise and this was very seldom. The view from the campground is very beautiful with the Badlands right there in your window. There is a small store at the campground. We were there in April and it did have some supplies but not a lot. If you come here, come well stocked because the nearest grocery store is about 32 miles away. If we ever come back this way again we will definitely be staying here again.

Travioli

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: Stayed 3 nights. We had no issues with electric or water and we shared a electric post and water post. Long drive they sites were clean and level. We were in site 15. Although we did not use the shower or bathroom facilities I did look at them because of previous bad reviews. They look to have been painted and were not moldy. It is very convenient to the Badlands National park and staff is as friendly. I gave it a 3 star rating because the sites are very close together and very little shade. They do have nice picnic tables and fire ring at every site. Overall not bad for price.

Clan McLeod

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: Location is amazing. About a 2 min drive to Badlands National Park. Nice view of the landscape from the campground. Good level sites, no issue with water, electric, and sewer. Pretty tight squeeze between neighbours but not bad. Close to road but not noisy at all. The shower stalls are FILTHY! This is not someone forgetting to clean it that week. This is years of filth and mold built up in the bathroom. This is worse than the showers in my dorm in university.

BCTOUR

For Badlands Interior Campground and Motel: The park is okay but not worth $36 per night. They did have power issues in the past but they seem to be fixed now. The PROS are location to the Badlands. New gravel sites and streets. Easy to find. CONS are no 50 amp FHU. Electric and water on some sites are shared. This almost started a fight among 2 campers trying to stuff their electrical equipment in the same box. Bring water and electric extensions you will need it. The sewer on the 30amp sites is not threaded so bring something to hold your sewer line on. There must be a million flies here. Seriously millions. We spent an hour killing flies in our RV and gnats too. Water pressure drops to almost nothing when sharing water connections. Weird but you cannot shower at the same time as your neighbor. Park is overpriced for the services. Should be a Passport America park. We won’t stay again at this price. Office staff was nice.
