For Sleepy Hollow Campground: We didn’t have any mosquitos, but it’s sort of late in the season. The small laundry was small and not busy, but the driers didn’t dry very well. They have a small dog park. $42/nite was too pricey for what you get. We had full hookups (30A) but they pack you in like sardines and not many sites had shade. I’m not trying to give a bad review, just an honest one.

Just fine overnight

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Level sites, quiet and being able to walk to Wall Drug is the real bonus. The mosquitos were unreal. The park needs to spray.

Tom

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Good stop to see Wall Drugs - BUT the mosquitoes were awful. They really need to spray. Taking the dog out and attacked by bugs. The pool looked dirty - but there were people in it. Mosquitoes were not an issue at Wall Drugs across the street.

Anna

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: The pool was a mess and the misquitoes attacked every time you opened the door. The sites are level gravel but they pack you in and they need to spray!! We stayed overnight in our 40ft fifth wheel.

Dwight Swisher

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Just to add to the others: The staff does there best. On this, the 4th of July weekend, the place was booked solid every night. Still, they helped us in a pinch and we stayed 3 nights to get off the cliffs of the Wall Dispersed camping area. (see my post about having a 26ft camper blown over the edge in a severe storm on the 4th) It's been a wet spring and early summer. There were huge storms for 3 nights in a row. This campground is almost flooded. They've not keep up with the pot holes, which are everywhere on the roads around the sites. Some sites have pools of water, and a couple are looking like a heavy rig has fallen through the gravel. (I'm in one of those, and not too happy). There's no shade in the RV area except for the A row of sites that are shaded late afternoon by the trees at the edge of the park. My point is, best be specific with making a reservation about what you are willing to put up with for water around your rig. Also, reservations are highly recommended. They have a really nice tenting area, and playground. the pool is small but well tended. The laundry should have been 4x4, but one washer was down. Dryers worked so so. 30 minutes was not enough time. In a pinch, it was very good. In better weather, it would be fine. There's only two CG in town, so we can't be too picky.

Average Joe

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Nice campground. Not impressive when you first pull up, but it is really pretty nice. Gravel Sites that were pretty level. We had rain a couple of nights but there was enough gravel to keep it from becoming a muddy mess. There were a few spots where the water pooled. The sites were pretty well spaced out. There was a pool, but we didn’t use it. Looked ok. There was an enclosed dog park. Showers and restrooms were good. Walking distance to Wall Drug. Easy access to the Badlands National Park. Cell service was good. WiFi was ok.

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: It was ok, friendly check in, roads & pads gravel, big dog run. WiFi good, GS discount & still $42, that’s with full hookups
