For Stoney Creek Travel Park: Great little campground! Immaculately maintained and very friendly hosts. Contrary to a previous review, it has plenty of 50 amp hook-ups. We stayed overnight, but plan on coming back for a longer stay!

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: Stayed 5/2021 in a 38 foot motorhome.stayed 2 nights. Park is easy to get to off the highway. Park is very nice and clean. Sites are easy to access. Owners are very accommodating Pat is an accomplished quilter. We lost power the first day and the owners made sure then rvs with pets were notified if they were not onsite- in case the rvs got warm. I thought that was very thoughtful. I was impressed. Would stay again.

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: Perfect place to stop off for the night. The campground is located right off the freeway on a quiet exit with little else there. The pull through sites are all nice and flat and extra long if you have a car following you or if your pulling a car. We live in central Ohio and wanted a midway stop on our way down to Florida. This campground was perfect for us both coming and going. After unhooking my camper, we found a great place to get gas and a bite to eat at the Tennessean Travel Stop 5 minutes south of the campground at the very next exit. Cost for the night wasn’t bad. We paid just under $50 for the night. Great overnighter!

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: Called Texas T campground on our way north from Florida as we do every time this year for a 2 night stay! We were told that we can’t stay there anymore because our Motorhome is 50 amp and they no longer allow RV’s with 50 amp service to stay there! I told them, I would use a 30amp adapter, I was told they don’t allow that either and only allow RV’s with 30 service! That’s very disappointing and not an acceptable business practice. Same on them!

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: We’ve stayed here twice now for an overnight and absolutely loved it. The owners are super nice and so welcoming and friendly. The site borders a lovely creek and cow pasture perfect for dog walking. Very clean and level sites plus plenty of room for maneuvering our RV. Will definitely stay here again!

Brady

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: We had planned to stay a week at this location because it was the closest we could find to family we were visiting in Thompson’s Station. Shortly after we arrived and were getting setup, my sister-in-law came to come see us and have a quick dinner. She parked in front of my trailer which I hadn’t seen because I was busy inside getting things setup. A gentleman immediately came pounding on our door and rudely asked if this was our vehicle parked in front of the trailer. We said we would move it, no problem. Not 40 seconds later he started pounding on the door again. This time he was tyrannical. My wife was trying to calm him down and told him we would move the vehicle but it would take her sister a minute because she was in the bathroom. He continued to yell and scream at my wife. After hearing the the commotion I came out and asked what the problem was. He immediately started screaming at me saying that guests MUST register at the office and my sister-in-law had deliberately ignored the sign that said this as she came into the campground. I was lectured and yelled at and told that I should have read all the rules before setting up camp. Mind you, we had only just arrived at this park 15 minutes ago. I told him to calm down and I said I would move the car. He continued on a tirade about how he likes to maintain order and cleanliness in this campground and that he can’t have people ignoring rules. Finally we told him, listen you’re not going to talk to us like that, we moved the car but we’re not comfortable paying for a campground and being treated as if we committed a third degree crime for parking a car in the wrong spot. After only being at this park for 30 minutes we frantically searched for another campground, found one, asked for a full refund, hooked the trailer back up and drove an hour away with three hungry kids and a dog to another campground in Nashville. Needless to say, out of the many campgrounds we have stayed at all across the country, THIS is one I cannot recommend. If you don’t believe me, there are google reviews that confirm the same type of psychopath behavior from management of this campground.

Stacy

For Stoney Creek Travel Park: Really nice location. Right off highway and did I not hear any highway traffic. Camp host and owners are both really nice. Unable to check out the bathhouse they had it closed due to COVID-19. The site was gravel pull through and mostly level.
