For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: Stayed 9/25-9/28. Thoughts on Soaring Eagle: 1. Loud traffic noise from i40. However, not bad inside camper and I liked the fact we are right off the interstate. (No long curvy roads to navigate) 2. Sites are close together. Try and book a site like A1, B1 or a site near the lake. The end sites would allow you to look outside and not see another camper. 3. Campground is very clean and the people are quiet. Looks like a few of them are long term, but everything is clean and the campers are nice. 4. There is a camp store and laundry facilities. I would stay here again. Very close to Knoxville and Gatlinburg.

Drazul

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: 29 ft motor home pulling a toad. Overnight stay on the way home. Was planning to boondock at a Knoxville brewpub, but had water pump issues that would make that difficult. Soaring Eagle found us a spot with 1 day notice. Staff friendly and efficient . Honors Good Sam discount . As previously noted, sites are gravel, long, narrow and may require a few leveling blocks depending on the site. We were happy with A2. All our utilities worked well. There is interstate noise but it is less the farther you move into the campground . This place is over 40 yrs old and is definitely for camping more than glamping. Regardless , it is well organized, has good camping amenities and we would return without hesitation.

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: Super convenient spot right off of I-40. Yes there is highway noise, but it’s nothing bad. Nice pull through spot. Yes I would stay there again.

Wendy

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: Came through for one night on our way to relocate to NC. This is was our 9th RV park on our cross country trek. Though most RV parks seem to be right off the freeway, this park might as well have been ON the freeway for as loud as it was! Granted we were given a spot closest to it so I would recommend you ask for one further away or bring a white noise machine AND earplugs. Another big negative was that our gravel pad was on an ant infested area. We unhooked at 5:30 pm and by the time we got ready to leave at 8:30am the next day, we had ants crawling all over our trailer and had even managed to get inside the front door. We pulled our bedding aside (which is by the door) checking for a food source but found none. Anyway, some people love it here.....we, sadly did not. However, the lady on the phone who booked the spot was SUPER friendly!

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: What a beautiful little campground! Spaces are long, a little small, but well worth it. The amenities are spotless and the salt water pool is so nice! We had no problems with our dogs as this place is super pet friendly! We took the pups down to the boat ramp to swin every day. Joyce is the sweetest lady and caters to your every need! I could stay here forever! Definitely five stars!

R McGregor

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: Traveling in 41ft motorhome with toad. Small park not big rig friendly. Sites are gravel, level and long but way too narrow as are the streets. Slides extend into neighboring patios. Just not a park for us big guys.

For Soaring Eagle Campground and RV Park Inc: Sites were close together. Cable worked well. Bathhouse was clean and decent. Some highway noise.
