Coach Bob

For Route 66 RV Ranch: Very basic stop over. We stayed because EVERYTHING else in town was full. It would take the same situation before we would stay there again. Very dirty, dusty park. It does have full hook ups.

For Route 66 RV Ranch: No showers, no toilets, no functional internet .... but lots of dirt (mud when it’s wet). Half the trees are dead. Lots of noise from I-40. But it’s cheap and the spaces are wide.

Denise

For Route 66 RV Ranch: My husband and I just needed a quick place to plug-in to stay for the night. We called on very short notice and thankfully, they had a space for us. Spaces were wide and owner seemed very nice and got us in quickly. Had a nice grassy area for the dogs.

AhoyFromFlorida

For Route 66 RV Ranch: This park has been updated and the sites are slightly larger than before when everybody was squeezed in like sardines. The current owner's former husband used to own the place and even though it was a tight squeeze to get into your site, he was the best camp host we've ever met. He made up for the small sites by charging lower rates than neighboring campgrounds and he even paid the electric bill for seasonal workers. But when we returned to this place a few years later, everything changed. The managers were terrible -- and now they're gone -- and the new owner thinks she owns a five star hotel and charges outrageous prices for seasonal campers. There is no pool, no general store, no sauna, limited office hours, gravel/dirt sites, high electric fees and bathrooms with bugs. The owner isn't much of a businesswoman. She reminds me of Norma Desmond from the movie, Sunset Boulevard. Time to retire, lady and let a competent owner run the place.

Reality Wonk

For Route 66 RV Ranch: I was fooled into believing the 4-star rating in Allstays. Those reviewers obviously have a much lower expectation than my wife and I do as to what a 4-star rating implies. The pull thru spaces were so small that my truck was fully in the driveway to unhitch. I had to do a 2-point turn to avoid hitting the trailer across the drive from me. There was only one water spigot per two spaces. The owner had put a wye connection with independent shutoff valves on the spigot. There were no picnic tables and no cable TV. Also, they did not offer any GS or AAA discounts. Their nightly rate was $36.00 which is very high for a place with such few amenities, not to mention that most of their clientele are monthly or seasonal workers with little regard for the appearance of their surroundings. The campsite next to me had a pickup truck with one wheel completely off and sitting on concrete blocks. The sites were gravel but level and the wi-fi was fairly good, but otherwise I do not recommend this place.

Kat

For Route 66 RV Ranch: Good for over night 50 amp service, water pressure good , sites level. Laundry clean, Showers old but cleanish.
Many long term residents in RV's
Access to park a bit different with one way service roads read directions carefully.
