The pads to park your RV are old and small. Some are impractical and not engineered very well. The park is huge and has many facilities. A lot of folks come here from Fort Hood about 20 miles away. You can come in from the east. There is no formal gate to come through so there is no hassle but if you go on Main Post there is a formal gate. The check in folks are professional and do a good job. Right now, in late March, only RVers are here but that will change soon.

Largest Famcamp I have used. Lots of overflow parking and acres of dry camping area. Friendly, helpful staff. Overflow sites could use some cosmetic TLC but were quite adequate. Numerous rental cabins. About 12 miles off interstate highway.
