For Palo Duro RV Park: The plus..this rv park is about 10 miles from Palo Duro Canyon. The negative…the sites are set up so if someone is using the site on your door side their door side faces your door. Your doors are so close you can’t put your awning out if you wanted to. We were here for 2 nights. The restrooms and laundry were not cleaned while we were there. The laundry has 2 washers and 4 dryers. 2 of the dryers were broken.

For Palo Duro RV Park: This park gets mixed reviews. The owners/staff were beyond nice---5-stars. Sites are level and all the utilities work as advertised---5-stars. The sites are dirt, not gravel, although theme may have been some gravel at some time. Dirt may be OK some times, possibly most of the time in the TX Panhandle. But it rained hard during the night and we woke up in a lake surrounding our motorhome including under our motorhome. Talk about a mess getting ready to leave the park. We did not dump. Now for your consideration.....there is not much in the area to choose from so this is probably your best bet unless you want to stay in Amarillo. It would be a tossup for us whether we would stay here again. I suspect we may just opt to stay in Amarillo.

For Palo Duro RV Park: Good place for a overnight. Lot’s of full timers but no problem getting in. All done over the phone. Right off I-27 so lot’s of road noise. I’d come back here if in the area.

Cindy

For Palo Duro RV Park: Great place wide open spaces and very big rig friendly! 10 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon and five miles or less to the city of Canyon. Diana and Crystal in the office are wonderful ladies and their attitudes come from a Godly heart! We would definitely stay again and recommend!

For Palo Duro RV Park: Check in was easy and done over the phone which was perfect due to COVID. Grounds looked tired. Foxtails were in our site which is not good for dogs. Site was level and plenty of room.

Scott

For Palo Duro RV Park: We used this campground to visit Palo Duro Canyon, Caprock Canyon State Park and Amarillo. We drive a 45 ft DP. We called ahead and made reservations. For $35 with good sams we got a double wide spot. Very easy to get into. All hook ups. Staff in office was very nice. Spot was level with hard gravel base. Check in was easy and fast. Did not use restrooms. They did look tired.

For Palo Duro RV Park: Stayed at Palo Duro RV Park. $40.00. Nice level spaces. Mgmt leaves at 3. No toilet paper in bathrooms. Good utilities. Free WiFi was not that good. Bathrooms old and not that clean. Lots of room to walk the dogs
