WanderingCanucks

For Fort Stockton RV Park: Travelling with a 10 year old and a dog.

Washrooms/showers were very clean. Very convenient location off the 10 (we were fairly close to the highway and it wasn't too loud). Off leash area was good big enough to let our medium sized dog run and play. Sites are basic gravel pull throughs which was convenient because we didn't have to unhook, as we were only there one night. We ate at the restaurant which was okay but if you are looking for healthy options I would give it a pass. There is a 1.6 mile trail which my son rode his bike on to burn off some energy so that was good. My son also used the pool and it was clean and large...one of the larger pools we have seen on our trip.

Schooner

For Fort Stockton RV Park: Nice little oasis off the long Interstate 10 driving. We were here just one night. Plenty of room. The diner has the best ever chicken fried steak. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.

Reditch

For Fort Stockton RV Park: I have to agree with the others, we used as a base while sightseeing in the area. Great staff, clean facilities and they are working to add more facilities. The resturant has good food and while limited menu something for everyone.

Nick6930

For Fort Stockton RV Park: Very nice stop over Campground. All the sites seem to be pull thru. The sites are level, good water pressure, good power and a large amount of cable channels. The kids loved the pool though the playground is very small home use swing set. The views were very beautiful. I would recommend a reservation since we pulled up in March and there were only a couple spots left at 2pm. It seems to be a popular stopping point due to the distance from Las Cruces and San Antonio, plus for the price you can't go wrong.

Rick

For Fort Stockton RV Park: Have to agree with the other good reviews. More grass than expected in TX. Staff nice. Hook-ups work fine. (One-night stop, didn't try the cafe or any other services.)

DaVida

For Fort Stockton RV Park: Heard all about this park's restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner, both of which we partook. Great for us travelers passing thru. Site was level enough to not unhitch our TT. Bathhouse and laundry were perfectly adequate.
