For Holiday Park: Nice stay. Site was very unlevel, but we made it work. Fresh water wasn’t available at our site, however site 83 was available to fill up our tank. One restroom was closed for repairs, the other was very dirty, so I was glad I had my own in my rig. Steve, at the check in booth, was very nice and helpful. Nature Trail was a good hike. Our Verizon coverage was pretty good. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

For Holiday Park: Stayed over the President Holiday Weekend at Site 72. Great view and huge area and flat campsite. We were informed at check in the campground water well has gone dry and the only place we could get water was at Site 83. The campground leaves that site un-booked so campers could fill their tanks. The bathhouse near our site was out of order and the other bathhouses did not have hot water. The man at the check in was very nice, and seemed to convey this has been an ongoing problem.

For Holiday Park: Stayed on site 92 in the very last section of park. I wish I could give this a better review. We love COE campgrounds but this was not a good one. No sinks in restrooms. Restrooms were not clean. Nor were showers. Bathhouse was rundown. My husband usually has no opinion on bathhouses but when he came back from this one he said he’d rate it a negative 2:). Our site was on a hill. We camped in a Roadtrek Class b and were able to get fairly level by driving as far back on pad as possible. Many sites had shade. Covered picnic table. View of lake in distance from our site. Close to Fort Worth (about 30 minutes ). 9:00 gate curfew drives me crazy! We wanted to take in a Rodeo but not possible with the curfew. Would be so easy to add a gate with security code.

For Holiday Park: We love to stay in COE parks. But the bathrooms here were NASTY! Very disappointed to find this in a COE park.

For Holiday Park: Great ACE campground. Sites are spacious and level and there are lots of shade trees plus covered picnic tables. Didn’t use facilities. AT&T coverage was decent.

For Holiday Park: This is a very nice COE park. We stayed in site 38 which has a great view but the hookups are on the wrong side and end. Bring an extension for power and hoses. Lots of great biking on paved roads. Some hills. Tons of dead de-barked wood you can harvest from the ground and the campground encourages it. Some pretty thick though. Bathrooms and showers we do not use so cannot comment. Only reason for 4 stars is due to location of utilities otherwise a great park. When we biked we saw some sites that were not very level, but most were within limits.

Eric

For Holiday Park: Peaceful and quiet place with very nice views of and access to a large lake. Spacious sites with paved pads and utilities in the right place. Some sites have 50A, some are 30A, and some have no electric. Trees around most sites. Don't know what happened with prior review Gulliver; like all ACE parks, registration is formal at the gate with receipts and car tags. Recreation.gov works well for advanced reservations. There should be no question as to the duration. Gate agent was kind and friendly to us, let us come in to pick a site before registering.
