For Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Second time here. Booked both RV sites and cabins for family vacay. RV sites were larger than normal. Gravel pads and roads. Some dust from those who didn’t observe the 7-1/2 mph speed limit. Recent upgrade to add water slide area. Parts of the resort seem tired with random used furniture stored in open sheds and evidence of half-finished projects and random dirt piles here and there. RV storage area in an open field next to entrance and potholes in the driveways detract from entrance. Cabins were clean and small but expensive. Nice store and staff and open times. Gas station with diesel at entrance and competitive prices. Lots of attractions nearby. Very kid friendly. Character visits can be arranged.

For Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Stayed here the weekend after Memorial Day with friends in six other rv’s . Park assigned spots to keep our group together and we and another couple in Class A’s had a buddy site, face to face. Really like those. Park is convenient to most of the major attractions in the area, we live only 30 miles away as the crow flies, so familiar with most everything. Roads and all sites are gravel and mostly level. Little bit of dust in the air as such. They have pull thrus as well as back ins, some shaded and on Grape Creek. Lots were wide and grassy, all full hook ups 30 & 50 amp with local cable. Although we could only get two stations on our visit. Free Wi-Fi with good reception everywhere we went. Good number of cabins as well as tent camping areas. We personally did not utilize bathhouse facilities but others in our group said they were clean and nice. There was a nice size pool and water park area as well as putt-putt, rental pedal carts, grill and other things you would find in a Jellystone Park. Not overrun with kids while we were there, nor does it get the crowds the other Jellystone parks in Canyon Lake and Kerrville get. While right on US290 we did not here any highway noises. We will return.
