Great lakeside park central to both cities. Very affordable rates for the area and. Large spaced out sites. Website is confusing; even "basic" sites have electric and water. Prison outfitted bathrooms, with no seat self cleaning toilets and one handed sinks are a bit odd. Had solid Verizon & ATT internet signals the whole time.

Stayed here 2 nights. Huge park with many facilities on a lake front and easy online booking so you know where you will be parking. Every site has its own picnic table + water and hookup. Plenty of space, would stay again!

We were fortunate to get the best site on the whole property: site 108 is lakefront and so private. FHU and trees for our hammock along with a private pavillion and picnic table. It's so peaceful here you would never know you're so close to town. $50/night plus $10/day use fee per day. Worth every penny.

Great park, staff is very nice. Most sites are shady and pretty level. For a park so close to town it's very quiet and wonderful. The only down side is the city is doing road work on the way in, makes it a little tricky.

Sites are beautiful & shaded right off the lake. We didn’t have full hookups in 71 but I know they do offer them. There were nice mowed hiking trails but they were pretty boring. Did enjoy that there are lots of geocaches. The staff was all very nice & helpful! Hate to say it but it was also nice to be able to drive 10 minutes to Target!

Nice park. Hard to believe it’s so close to the Metroplex. Our site had tons of shade and was very private, but not all did. Lots of activity over the weekend. We were here after Labor Day and there was still plenty going on. Probably some family reunions and birthday parties. Full hookups in our section. Rental cabins seem like they’d be nice. I’m sure we will be back sometime.

Very nice, clean, showers have a push button and hot water. Lake was flooded so could not swim. Easy access to 20 and the Dallas area.

Nice and clean park. Right on lake with good access. Sites well spaced and nice facilities with rentals of all kinds, and a nice little store. Staff helpful. Location near city, roads a mess getting to this park, once all of the construction is done it should be nice. Sewer dump on one side was ok, but the park is big, they could use two dumps at each station, as the line gets long.

Great quiet park, few miles from so much traffic and town, but this was a quiet oasis, fish from sites, trees and privacy. Pavilions for each pad. Some sites more level than others but not bad. Bathrooms clean and staff super sweet
