For Hitchin Post RV Park: Good place for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Mostly permanent residents.

For Hitchin Post RV Park: This is NOT a destination park. It is a great overnight stop when traveling I-20. Mostly permanent residents but possibly 5 Transient pull-thru sites with FHU-50-amps which was what we were looking for. We do not give a rip about amenities, restrooms, showers, wifi, etc., We were looking for a safe place to overnight with FHU the cheaper the better. This place met our expectations. It is/was a Passport America Park so we stayed for 1/2 price which made it even better. This is a great overnight stop with easy access to I-20....if you are not looking for amenities.

For Hitchin Post RV Park: Descent park, nice people, extra long pull through a, shade. Nothing fancy but for $24 was good for an overnight. Lots of permanents.

For Hitchin Post RV Park: Stayed two nights. July 1st 2nd left 3rd 2016. Overall view of park was average. Nothing that stood out that would entice you to come back. Rest rooms were average. Park was next to I 20 so it was easy on and off. There were a line of trees on side of park that held the interstate noise down. The drive through sites were level with plenty of space. The sites needed mowing. No excuse for a holiday weekend or anytime for that fact. Park was located next to a convenient store which was nice. Park had several permanent residents. This kinda made you feel like you were not in a regular RV park. My site had a cracked 30 amp plug. Had to use the 50 amp with my downsize plug. I did notify office about this. I hope it will get repaired. I gave park a 3 out of 5. ?
