Ransom

For Pedernales Falls State Park: Amazing state park. Campsites are nice sized and well spaced apart. Most sites are wooded with some shade, but some are open with no trees. All sites had covered patio with picnic table, electricity (30amp & regular plug) and most appeared to have water. There are hiking trails as well as a gravel road down to the river. Due to the drought the park was very dry and river was super low and too shallow for swimming. Staff were great. The bathrooms are clean with nice showers. Only surprise is I had no cell coverage on T-mobile. Others at park on Verizon also said no signal. You could get a sometimes weak signal walking to campsite entrance or up the road to the park entrance for 1-2 bars.

Oscar

For Pedernales Falls State Park: Pedernales is an awesome spot. Only downside is finding availability. T Mobile reception is spotty. Stayed in an RV. Nice large sites with enough space in betwen.

For Pedernales Falls State Park: Beautiful but remote State Park. Big to huge sites with lots of privacy. Clean modern restrooms Lots of hiking trails. It was January so we did not check out the swim area. Poor Verizon service only 1-2 bars.

SarahBeth

For Pedernales Falls State Park: Loved this spot! A little off the beaten path, but worth the drive. Sites are high, dry, and many are shady. Saw lots of wildlife. Super quiet and peaceful. Just what I love in a camp.

Audrey

For Pedernales Falls State Park: Nice large private sites. Nice helpful sraff and hosts. A bit out of way. Campsites a distance from river..long walk or hilly bike ride. Phone and internet reception spotty at best. Hot showers . Only a few folks camping due to weather or may have been a line up to use. Attractive butterfly garden and bird blinds.
