For Main - South Llano River State Park: Nice park with plenty of room between sites. Lots of activities to do here. Stayed one night on our way home. Bathhouses could be kept cleaner.

For Main - South Llano River State Park: Agree with previous reviews, nice park. Only want to note that road 2169 is blocked off at Flat Rock lane due to previous year flooding, do not use as of February 11, 2019.

For Main - South Llano River State Park: This is a great park. There is no Verizon service in this area. You can use the library WiFi in town but that is it. But this is still a place not to be missed

For Main - South Llano River State Park: Stayed here last night. I wish I knew it was so nice, we would have stayed another night. Had s great lot. Level and beautiful. The camp host was helpful and pleasant. Lots of wildlife, hiking trails and a clean bath house. Very nice here.

For Main - South Llano River State Park: Outstanding park for birding and hiking. This has been a favorite of ours for the past 15 years. Sites are level & large. Every site now has a covered picnic area and fire ring. With new website you will soon be
able to reserve a specific site. Restrooms are kept immaculate by camp hosts. Limited to no cell reception in area unless using AT&T. Highly recommended.

For Main - South Llano River State Park: We love this park and stayed here Easter weekend when it was very full. It was quiet, beautiful weather and great hiking. There were people in the river swimming, but too cold for me. We enjoy birding and were treated to many species. We'll continue coming back here for hiking, birds, and a dip in the cool river. Oh yeah, the sites are long and easy to back into. Restrooms are clean and showers are good. The sites are spacious.

For Main - South Llano River State Park: We saw ratings and opted to come here, we are sure glad we did. The hosts were super helpful and nice. We booked a reservation but at the time you could not pick your site, so we drove around and picked one. None of the sites are on the water or really near it at all, any on the outside of the loop are great for watching armadillos and such. The inside loop sites are also nice, wide spacing, nice covered cabanas and a clean and well maintained restroom with showers. The weather was not too cooperative for our stay, but we will come back here to get out to the hiking trails to the south. They have wonderful bird blinds with seating, bird books and local bird information. A birder's paradise.
