For Maverick Ranch RV Park: Excellent RV park with pull through sand well kept clubhouse. Stayed there to visit friends at the resort. This is an oasis in the dessert with excellent food, service and food. Located right in the middle between Big Bend National Park and State Park.

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: We stayed at this wonderful park for 10 days wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about our experience was 5 star. The check in process was smooth as silk. The team up front was very knowledgeable about the area and provided many helpful tips. The manager himself came by a few times during our stay to make sure everything was going well. He also helped me to fix a small oil leak on my motorhome. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. The park rules were smartly enforced. The location was fantastic right next door to the Big Bend Ranch State Park and about 30 miles from Panther Junction the main visitor center in Big Bend National Park. I have a 45 ft rig and pulls 23 ft trailer. The spots were very easy to pull into. The Park is in a National dark sky community so all lights must be out by 10:00. Visit their website as it represents the place well.

BigMo

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: This is a great place to stay if you want all the amenities associated with a major RV park. The bathrooms, shower house, laundromat, and Direct TV club house are all first class. There are a few hikes associated with the property that are easily accessible. Also, the RV park is part of the larger Lajitas Resort so you get access to the restaurants, shops, etc. It was a great stop for us. However, access to this part of the country is hard. The roads are bumpy, narrow, and in some cases steep. Plan for slower speeds. Also, since it is so remote everything is very pricey. I think the RV park especially for short term people is pricey, but it is the only game in town. BTW, WiFi access from campground is non-existent. We stayed in January of 2019 in a 32 foot motorhome

WanderingCanucks

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: We are travelling with a dog and a 10 year old child. We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the Big Bend National Park. The location to the parks west entrance is pretty good, about a 35 minute drive over good roads. The resort has restaurants, spa, equestrian centre, lots of other services if you would like to use those. The actual RV area is separate from the rest of the resort and is your typical setup with above average size lots, a fire pit and the usual hookups. The dog park is a pretty good size with a double door entry and water source which is great. There is also a road that leads off to tent camping which is great for walking the dog. The pool is very nice with lots of seating in both the shade and sun...the pool was a bit dirty but I think that is just the way it is in this area with all the dust blowing around. The washrooms were nice private stalls with lockable doors with a sink, toilet and shower but they weren't as clean as you would hope. I noticed one stall had a very dirty floor and it stayed that way for two days. The clubhouse area is nice and big with lots of seating. The laundry is large with at least 6 washers and dryers ($2 each load). The laundry room was fairly clean but had a bad smell like garbage.

Maldomaldo

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: We stayed over the Christmas Holiday. Bathrooms were well maintained. They had a client potluck on Christmas Day, which was great. Dog Park is nice and big, all dirt, what do you expect in the desert. There was a water main leak Christmas morning, and they were right on top of it. Overall a great experience!

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: March 2017. 2 adults, no kids or pets. Stayed 5 nights. Probably one of the nicer parks in the area. Nice bathhouse and laundry. Wifi satisfactory most of the time. Nice staff. Takes about 30 minutes to get to Big Bend. Right next to Big Bend Ranch State Park. Would stay here again.

Jaybird

For Maverick Ranch RV Park: Really nice resort. Great bathrooms, pool, etc. We visited in the middle of May-off season and we found the rates to be modest. The Hotel, Bar and Restaurant across the street are first class! Looks like a really special golf course "Black Jack Crossing" connected with the Hotel.
