For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: Staff are friendly. They have a clean pet area. If you are less than 36’ long you will probably have not a huge amount of problems getting in & out. We had to back our 40’ rig several hundred feet because the residents parked into the side roads. We had to back until we found one clear enough to get out. Had vehicles driving up very close to us while trying to get out and cutting behind us while backing even though I was obviously standing there. Very unsafe and extremely rude. It’s ok for a quick overnight if you don’t mind sleeping in the middle of an industrial park. Also road was closed but we were never informed of that the two times I called.

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: Previous KOA, which is still being well kept. Nicest we saw in area which is full of mostly run down full timer RV parks. Dog park with thick grass which is rare in West Texas! Clean bathrooms. Store. Laundry. Playground. Pool. We were very happy to find it.

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: As said previously, water is not for consumption. They give you cases of water to drink and cook with. Sites are very rustic. Gravel and dirt. Had to have the car and Motorhome washed after our stay. This area of Odessa/Midland reeks of oil. Will not stay here again. Found out there's a newer place North of Odessa with concrete pads and much nicer facilities. This place needs updating.

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: Stayed here one night on way home from Arizona. Very clean park with wide pull thrus. Over air tv with major networks, good free wifi. Staff advises that water is not for drinking or cooking. Water ok for bathing. They supply you with a case of bottled water for drinking and cooking. The dog park is clean and odor free with real grass, not gravel. I will stay here again when back this way. We stayed in a 39' motorhome with towed car.

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: Will not be staying there again. The park water is not safe to drink according to the front desk so they have to give out bottled water. The owner is exceptionally rude. Pass it up.

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: Very clean park and staff. Like others said there is no water and they are very upfront about it but I would not say it detracts from the park. They gave us 2 cases of water because we were traveling with our puppies - unless you need to fill up it shouldn't be a problem. Fenced dog park and playground are nice too. I think it was a KOA. The only caution is if you are in a large RV - you might want to call as the slots looked like they might be a little tight for the bigger RVs.

Don

For Midessa Oil Patch RV Park: When I called ahead for reservations, their comments made us very apprehensive. They are right up front to tell you that their water is not safe for drinking, cooking or consumption, just showering and bathing. They also tell you they have no cable TV. I could just imagine a flat dirt pad next to the zillion of pump jacks and tumbleweeds. This is a nice park. Friendly staff, small pruned trees at every site. A nice playground for the kids, nice pool, and good facilities. Yep they have water issues, but to off set that, when you register they give you a case of bottled water for free. We will stay here again.
Stayed Feb. 4 2015. In a motorhome
