For KOA Journey Mt Pleasant: This is a KOA Journey so I’m giving five stars based upon my expectations. Convenient to the highway; staff was very pleasant and no problems getting our 40’ RV towing a car to the site. Sites are narrow so can’t put out awning. We’re here for one night and I’d come again when passing through.

BlueRidge

For KOA Journey Mt Pleasant: This was a convenient and pleasant stopover park for us, easy to access. Our pull-through site was a level, very nice concrete pad (not all are concrete), but narrow. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Kudos for their very large and clean fenced dog area, which had some interesting features our dogs loved. Some highway noise (not uncommon for KOAs), but we would certainly stay here again when passing through.

For KOA Journey Mt Pleasant: This is a very clean and easy to access KOA. You can fit a big rig though some spaces might be tight. Roads are easy to maneuver. Grounds are kept exceptionally clean and manicured. Park was quiet and peaceful. There are some long-term campers but all of their sites are clean and look very nice. Nice walking trail within the park. It does have cable, however, most of the channels are local networks (NBC,CBS,ABC, etc). Park has good water pressure and hook-ups are well maintained. The weaknesses of this park are sites are very close together, some have trees that could be too low for tall rigs, the hookups are spread out oddly with electric in the middle but water and sewage at the very rear of the RV. The site we stayed in (37) had a tree with a limb that my 13'3" high rig just fit under; however, if the RV was any taller, it would have been an issue. This is a good park for an overnight stay or to stay for a few days if you don't mind the cramped spaces. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Myz

For KOA Journey Mt Pleasant: Quiet even though close to highway. Well maintained with level concrete sites. Disappointed in how narrow sites were. Unable to open awning because of proximity of neighbor and picnic table right near his sewage hookup. In 32 foot Class C.

For KOA Journey Mt Pleasant: Stopped overnight and I was very happy to find high end concrete paved pull thurs to accommodate any size rig. ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
