For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: This campground is big and beautiful. The sites are very spacious. The lake front is expansive and lots of opportunity for lake water fun. There are not as many 50amp fhu sites as you would think given how nice the campground is otherwise. Many of the 50amp fhu sites are taken by annuals. Both AT&T and Verizon have good signal here. The activities center, pools, and playground areas are well maintained and a lot of fun for kids and grownups alike. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My biggest wish is that the park had a dog park. There is lots of field space that is otherwise unused.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: Easy check-in and a ranger station employee named Faith was very kind. We ended up choosing site H16 and it was level and shaded. There is a decent amount of space between sites so that was nice. This campground is quite large so it is great for walking or cycling. The H section bathrooms were clean. We paid $15.00 for 1 week of Camplink wifi and it worked ok most of the time. My AT&T phone had 2 bars but we didn't try the hotspot. Could only program Fox for over the air TV channels. The campground staff also allowed us to wash our RV and tow car free of charge. Thank you so much! All amenities were closed due to Covid-19 except for 2 pools.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: We just arrived today, we booked 21 days but will only be staying 3 days. It’s really sad that this park is in such dilapidated condition. You can tell at only time this was a very nice park. I’ve been to TT’s in 16 states, over 40 different TT’s. And I never been to a park with the size and quantity of pot holes this park has. The restrooms/shower facility are so dilapidated that The soffit and facia are rotting away. The grass is in it and knee high. I can go on and on. It falls to The management of this park. I have not met them but whoever it is along with the maintenance team and grounds crew should all be replaced. It’s truly pitiful this park is in this condition.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: Big park with lots of amenities. No pull thru RV sites. Difficult to contact, find camp and to find available site when you come in the dark. Bathrooms left much to be desired.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: very difficult to find a spot even during the week. full of full time RVers and received very little guidance from the ranger on where there were available spots with full hookup. multiple sites had cords running across them to adjacent sites. multiple sites were closed for electrical. full hookup (sewage) up at a few available spots but difficult to find. 30 amp only.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: 1st time to stay here April 28 2017. Very friendly staff. Very woodsy and shady spots. We are 43' motorhome and saw several sites we could use. If low limbs were trimmed could have more choices. Its a nice campground not a fancy concrete RV park. Currently only 30amp. But electric company working in multiple places in the park upgrading to 50 amp. We did see several (20+ sites) closed, unknown why. Lots and lots of annuals rent permanent site, most are kept up nicely. Will be glad to stay here again.

For Lake Tawakoni RV Campground: One of the nicer parks I've seen in Texas. Large wooded sites, older but clean pools and bathrooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The lake is peaceful and calm. The only bad thing is the road in and roads in the park are a mess, still, you're only going to be on them for a few minutes.
