Neat and clean throughout. Convenient layout with two clean showerhouses. Setting is on a peninsula with a view of Matagorda Bay. A beautiful walkway goes out into the bay for a half mile circle. Parking on cement pad. Covered picnic table at each site. Quiet and beautiful. Great RV park for families. Host was friendly and helpful. She described a couple of sites and suggested one that matched my needs. Community room has TV and a library of DVDs to lend out to registered campers. I have nothing negative to say about this well run park.

I was somewhat reluctant to stay here after reading the past reviews but decided to check it out before making a final judgement. Upon arriving the place was only partially occupied and with no long term residents as past reviewers reported. By rule the waterfront sites are limited to a seven day stay although the off water sites do allow for a six month stay. All was neat and clean with no long term residents. Would stay here again for sure.

$35 for a slot as big as your rig with trash and the sewer hookup full of leaves. $40 on the waterfront better BUT camp is long term folks living here. Diesel trucks starting at 6 am. County trucks driving up and down at 7. Cable doesn’t work but lines still there. No WiFi.

Only a few spots that look like they are for transient use are near the water, bulk of the sites are tightly packed, not near the water, and full of very long term local workers. The signs say dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Packed with long stay RVs. I am not hard to please, but the bathrooms were filthy. $20 for tent site and we abandoned our site and moved to Magnolia which is very well maintained and even free (hoping it does not get too crowded).
