Jeff

For Shady Pines RV Park: Very nice quiet park. Concrete level pads, ours was B1. Restroom/showers were very clean. Grounds well manicured. Whenever we pass through this area, this our park of choice. I’m originally from Northwest Louisiana, but live in Dallas now. Management is very friendly. Nice dog walking area. An on-site fishing pond, plus the folks that run the facility speak my “Southern Country Language”, brings back fond memories of my youth. Give it the highest rating possible.

Craig Janes

For Shady Pines RV Park: Beautiful, well kept RV park just off the highway. Friendly staff. Level sites with grass in between. Pretty little pond stocked with fish. Mature trees full of birds. Great wifi. Nice, clean, big shower facility. Some noise from highway but not bad. We just stayed one night on a cross-country trip. We stay at many RV, state, and provincial parks and this is a very good one. If you want a restaurant nearby, 67 Landing a couple miles up the road isn’t bad - roadhouse decor, live music, and some cajun options on the menu.

JPRoland

For Shady Pines RV Park: We stayed at Shady Pines as our first stop on our maiden voyage. For a park just off the road, it was excellent. Super clean and everything was very convenient. We felt extremely safe and the people there are mostly seniors (about 80% full-time) and they were very kind. They even have a large community room and where it was obvious that they provide lots of fun for the older residents. It's not exactly a place for kids or camping, but if you need a place to stop for the night in Texarkana, you would be quite pleased with Shady Pines.

Jon Copeland

For Shady Pines RV Park: Very nice. Extremely well maintained. Concrete level parking. No cable. Said that we could stream from their wifi. We are too much the novice to make it work, OTA TV made us happy.

Datsun guys

For Shady Pines RV Park: Beautiful manicured park with prize winning restrooms. Loved our stay. Convenient to Scottie’s Grill which has great food and live entertainment. Park looks new so trees aren’t mature but park is lovely. Next to nice pond and shade trees. Quiet didn’t notice traffic on route 67. We will stay again on our next trip East
