For Quail Springs RV Park: Somewhat rundown and neglected, absentee-owned seasonal RV/MHP with handful of shorter term RV sites at good price. Narrow, slightly non-level broken asphalt, gravel and dirt combination site pads. Sites too short for big rig and vehicle due to services located in middle unless set up in front or rear with long hoses and extension cord. All RV, vehicle, tow dolly and trailer tires must be on site pad even though hard-pan sites are mainly covered in weeds. Above-ground concrete patio in site with small, peeling wood table on it more of trip hazard than convenience. Good water pressure but low flow. Lots of large, live oak trees in RV side of park for shade. But park has a few trees in middle of park roads needing removal and trees needing trimming. Nice office, laundry, lounge and rec hall facilities with large adjacent stone patio. High noise level due to US90 and law enforcement firing range near busiest small town airport ever encountered. In addition to regular small airport usage, there's USAF pilot training in small turboprops, frequent helicopter flights (even at night) and airplane museum flights. But enjoyed Hanger 6 Air Cafe meal at airport while watching airplanes.

For Quail Springs RV Park: Older RV park that is very well maintained. Easy check in, friendly staff. Bathhouses clean. Lots of trees, staff uses blowers every morning to keep leaves an debris off pavements. Stayed on our way to Big Bend.

For Quail Springs RV Park: Well kept, clean, level, FHU. Lists of Live Oak trees provide shade as well as beautiful. Friendly staff. Extremely convenient location near a super Walmart-the largest we’ve ever seen as well as restaurants and other stores. Wi-Fi only if you are near main building. Cable. Clean bath houses. Should we ever travel this way again this would be where we will stay.
