Kabu

For Van Horn RV Park: Nice roomy level lots, great stop over. Especially enjoyed the onsite restaurant Lots of sands burrs on our walk with the dog, but cones with the territory. Would stay again

Travelsalot

For Van Horn RV Park: Nice level and roomy sites. Good water pressure and hookups. Furthest from busy railroad that runs through Van Horn. We could hear faint train whistle but no road noise from I 10 from back of park. Office checkin person was accommodating when I told her I didn’t like road noise. The only negative was the awful tiny sticky burs on the ground. Just don’t get one under your fingernail!

Sara

For Van Horn RV Park: Staff super friendly and helpful. We just stayed for one night so we didn’t use any of the amenities.

Scott

For Van Horn RV Park: We stayed here 1 night on a 2 week camping trip from NC to California. It had beautiful views of the night skies, and the long sunset Was breathtaking. Friendly staff, close to grocery shopping. Would have loved to been able to stay longer. Will definitely again on Our next long trip when we can stay and explore more

waypoint

For Van Horn RV Park: Stayed one night while passing thru, was happy with the place. Gravel lots, very level. Nice staff. Also a little restaurant on site which is great after a day of traveling! Plenty of space to get out and walk around a bit. Only complaint was that some of the washers and dryers were out of service but it looked like they were working on that. Would stay here again.

Therese

For Van Horn RV Park: Level, long, pull-thru spaces. A former KOA which is kept up really well. Bathrooms are spotless. Laundry is very nice though they were down to one dryer when I stayed. I rarely heard any noise from I-10.

Berrymore

For Van Horn RV Park: We had to modify our route and booked at the last minute and stayed for one night. $35.00 with discount. We really liked the place. Big sites. 80 feet long. You can pick your site. Electric, water, sewer and cable. It was too cold to walk around. We didn’t see any bunnies. Person checking us in was great and offered to stay late if we ran late. She saw us leaving the following morning and stopped us to give us some weather advise. Everything was clean and neat. I saw a tractor with a grader behind it. Obviously used a lot. The entire campground is dirt/gravel. I don’t know what it would be like if it rained. There didn’t seem to be a lot of semi permanent residents like a lot of other parks in the area. We’d definitely stop here again
