For Lost Maples State Natural Area: Great park! A small hidden treasure. Perfect little swimming hole with clear water right off the main road. 30amp service. No cellular reception or park wifi in the camping area - bring your starlink - plenty of open sky with minimal obstructions.

For Lost Maples State Natural Area: We stayed in 38' 5th wheel mid week in late March - park was 60% full. Reservations definitely required for weekends. Some shade available - shelters, tables and fire pits at each site. Central bathhouse is adequate. Nice trails - some ranger-led birding walks. Lost Maples Winery nearby is quite pleasant with some evening and weekend activities.

For Lost Maples State Natural Area: Ive been going to lost maples for over 30 years. Highly recommended. Great trails (some) difficult. Super backpacking camping. Nice facilities shower etc. Fall will be busy. Make a reservation for car camping and pack in site.
