For Lavonia Park: ?Spacious sites, great views, quiet & good price. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful, quick with local info and recommendations. ?Our site,02, was unlevel and roads need repairs.

For Lavonia Park: Pros - Sites are spaced far apart, full hookups for good price, very pretty with nice view of the lake Cons - Most sites are very unlevel and narrow, needs road and site repairs.

Lee

For Lavonia Park: Site 21 is a nightmare. Too unlevel to get my jacks to work. A dumpster on the right side of the entrance made it very hard to back in. I saw one gate guard during my stay. He was a very grumpy ‘get off my lawn’ kinda guy. I’ve volunteered for COE and they need to put more effort in choosing better representatives. I saw no rangers or camp hosts. My campfire was overflowing with ashes. The electric plugs are upside down putting a crimp and stress on the Rv plugs. I was glad to leave. Won’t be back.

Woody

For Lavonia Park: It’s not the Ritz. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we were there the staff was trimming and in the process of removing the branches. The park is well kept with good lake access. It was very peaceful. We had full hookups with 30 amp. That’s all I need with my old (1990) Airstream . We will definitely stay here again. Don’t forget your National Park passport for a discount .

PATtheHAT

For Lavonia Park: The worst in shape campground by the COA I've been in so far. I've seen better bathrooms in jail. Roads need repair, level sites are few and showers are at the far end of camground and not centralized. I gave two stars because I'm sure to run into a worst one later. Will never stay here again.

Matt Lawrence

For Lavonia Park: The site is not that hard to find, we found it in the dark using gps fairly easily. There were not that many campers there when we were there (4 days), as it was still cold. The roads are okay, but have to agree the site camping slots are not level and could use some upgrading/repair. Our spot had sewer, water and 30 amp service. People running the camp ground were friendly and helpful. Trash dumpsters were plentiful. View of the lake is outstanding.

Elevation13

For Lavonia Park: Difficult to find due to shrubs and trees that obscure signs.
Very hilly lakefront park. Windy! Never opened the awnings. Overflowing banks when we were here. Clean and mowed. Many sites have sewer hookup. Paved sites uneven and potholed - could use leveling and repaving. Lots of longtime residents in tired campers. Park should encourage them to clean up their sites. Very old, but clean, restrooms. Not much to do in the area if you don't fish.
