For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: $30 for nothing but a site and you can only run your generator from 8 to 10 AM! They had their old hours of 8am to 8pm still posted when we paid. I pointed it out to them and they said sorry they hadn’t changed that signage yet. The only benefit of using the campground is proximity to hiking but you could stay outside the park and take the shuttle for free so much easier. Oh and their shuttle hours as limited from 8 to 8 so forget hiking early or late in the summer if you’re staying outside the park and don’t have a tow vehicle for your motorhome.

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: This campground has been heavily used and the sites poorly maintained. The roadways are breaking away making for treacherous footing at night. My small dog stepped in a pothole and injured her leg. The flimsy picnic table at our site was bent, making it difficult to use. There is no evidence that any effort is made to clean up the sites between campers in stark contrast to all the US Forest Service sites we stayed in. The only positives are the location in the park, and the restrooms which are attractive and clean.

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: More than 6 spaces available at 8am mid June 2018. Walking distance to visitors center. Surprised at the price of $30 without power for an RV. All the level sites go early.

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: We stayed here for one night in early October 2017. We stayed in the A-Loop in our 27' motorhome with toad. We were able to find a "First-Come. First-Served" site easily, even in mid-afternoon. Although not quite level, there was plenty of room for both our rig and tow vehicle. It was easy access to the park and all attractions. We had no one to either side so running the generator to make coffee, etc. was not an issue during approved hours. We can imagine that during peak season, finding a spot would be tough but in the off-season, it was very easy and nice!

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to hiking and biking at Bryce. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed the first week of June, including the weekend, in our 25 foot MH.

This CG is well maintained, clean and perfectly situated near the rim trail, multiple trail heads, the bike path, bus stop, Visitor Center, General Store, and the BC Lodge. We arrived at 9:30 am and we're able to find a walk in site in Loop A. Most days, the sites filled up by early afternoon. Get an envelope at the kiosk near the entrance, find an open site, complete the form and return with payment to the kiosk. Most sites need leveling - the reservable sites, those crossing the A Loop and those in the middle of the B Loop are most level. Most sites are relatively small pull throughs or pull overs with good sized separate areas with picnic table and fire ring. Most sites have some shade. There are no hook ups. There's a dump station with fresh water nearby for $5. There's no wifi. There is good ATT and Verizon coverage. The CG hosts were friendly and helpful.

There's much to do and see in BCNP. Hike, bike, ranger talks, etc. The dining room at the Lodge is open to the public.

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: Typical NPS campground ... It's all about location ... Needs updates ... Very few Level sites

For North Campground - Bryce Canyon National Park: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a class A. First-come sites were available every day of the week we were here, if you plan to arrive in the morning (about 9:00 - noon) just after people leave. We stayed one night at Ruby's outside the park so as to snag a site here in the morning. Watch for the unmanned registration pavilion at the entrance; get a payment envelope, snag your site, then come back and drop payment. Some sites may have a level problem, but ours did not. All sites had a fire pit and a nice metal picnic table. Spacious natural areas around sites. No hookups, dry camping. But this is more than made up for by the peacefulness under the Ponderosa pines and the direct walking access to the incredible beauty of the rim.
