For KOA St George Hurricane: We stayed 5 nights. Original site was so unlevel we could not level our 24ft trailer. Staff was accommodating in giving us a different site. However we were so close to our neighbor we could not even put two picnic tables between us. WiFi was unreliable, when you could connect you would be automatically disconnected after about 10 minutes. Restrooms were never cleaned during our 5 day stay.

For KOA St George Hurricane: We made our 7 day reservation through RPI and paid $14.00 per night. I called a few days prior to arrival and asked if we could have a site with some tree shade. Lisa in the office stated "no you booked through RPI and we have other guests arriving, so you will be assigned site #77." The online map clearly shows that this site has no shade. We arrived on a Monday and 2 other sites near us with fantastic tree shade sat empty for 4 days until several weekend warriors showed up on Friday. How rude and inconsiderate! We were obviously discriminated against due to our RPI booking. They aren't allowing guests into the office due to Covid-19, but the staff also isn't wearing masks. That is bad safety planning folks! Our site was horribly tilted which made it difficult to level. Wifi was abysmal and AT&T phones get zero bars so I couldn't use my hotspot. Enjoyed the 30+ cable channels. Campground charges a $10.00 fee to wash your RV and/or tow car. What? Water is very hard so bring your softener. Decent bathrooms and showers. This was our first stay at a KOA park and it was very disappointing. The best thing about this place is its close proximity to Zion National Park.

For KOA St George Hurricane: Disappointing for the cost but you have limited choices in this area. Spots are tight alternate direction parking. Campground surrounded by hills so Verizon and ATT reception so poor we couldn’t make calls in evening, even using booster. Warned about slow wifi at check-in but found it to be non existent once park filled up. Clean facilities, nice pool, beautiful surroundings. 20 mile drive to normal shopping. Will avoid this place in future.

For KOA St George Hurricane: Expensive, unlevel site, tiny site right next to neighbor, no more than 10 feet from house at edge of property. We have been out for nearly four months and this is THE worst site we have in that time. So disappointed in KOA.

Impromptu Adventures

For KOA St George Hurricane: It’s a nice enough site. The spaces were a little small for the $ and we struggled a little bit to get our outdoor setup squeezed in but we managed okay. The spots weren’t particularly level so you’ll have to work that out to get your rig just right. The Wi-Fi seemed pretty worthless. Staff was super friendly and there looked to be some good recreation there with horseshoes, pickle ball (whatever that is) and a pool table in the clubhouse. There was a nice community fire pit happening that people seemed to really enjoy.

For KOA St George Hurricane: This is so close to earning five stars but there are some really sucky problems here too. I stayed here four nights and during that time I watched several fifth wheels and a couple motorhomes try to wedge into their VERY narrow spaces and finally driveway or park in the overflow. I also heard many folks, including my neighbor for me, asked to move their autos or trucks for getting out the following morning. My neighbor and I could have passed dinner between slideout windows we were so close. Additionally, I don't think any of the sites are level. AND if you walk your dog, expect to pick goatshead stickers out of their paws.
With all this said, it's very clean and well monitored, but......

For KOA St George Hurricane: Nice, clean KOA with excellent customer service. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of full hook up sites, but they are pretty close together and most do not have a fire pit. Nice pool and miniature golf. Would definitely stay here again.
