For Red Ledge RV Park and Campground: This is a nice RV Park that we enjoyed. It is quiet and pleasant. The Owner/Manager, Gail, is very nice and considerate. The other campers are friendly and we enjoyed talking to everyone. The campsites are compact, so the Park is designed so that there are some common areas to have a fire and sit outside. I found it conducive to conversation with other folks around. Kolob Canyon is only 10 minutes away (part of Zion NP) and Zion NP itself is about 75 minutes. For us, we like Kolob Canyon better than Zion because it is smaller, similar scenery, a few trails, and has almost no crowds. For Kolob Canyon particularly, this park is perfectly located. I see a note about it being small for tents - and it is. There is room for a couple of tents I think but they share a grassy area with no physical separation between them. The laundry is clean and well kept. We didn't check the bathrooms but considering the way Gail keeps everything else, I think they would be fine. There are a couple of hikes possible. Someone already mentioned Kanarraville Falls which is in easy walking distance (a few blocks away). The city charges $12 for a hiking permit - that pays for the parking area for those who have to drive. I didn't take the hike because the snowmelt and rains have made it so that you will get wet as the trail follows the stream bed for a bit I am told. There is a second hike as well that is further away, but walkable if you want. Spring Creek Canyon is a nice hike but the water was up there during our time there. Alternately, you can just walk around the village of Kenarraville. Not a great deal to see but it is a nice walk. We will stay here again next time we are in Southern Utah.

For Red Ledge RV Park and Campground: Not good for tents. Very small grass strip with no privacy for $20

Jess

For Red Ledge RV Park and Campground: Wonderful little spot very close to the north side of Zion and only blocks away from an amazing hike - kanarra falls - don't miss it! Owner kept a spot reserved for us same day as calling, and the other campers were very friendly. Hot tub available for use as well.
