Bert

For Portal RV Resort: Good location. Well maintained. Nice staff. But loose gravel sites are a problem; pebbles always get in your shoes. Sewer access is inches from the water hook up. The neighbor's sewer access is much too close to our picnic table. That’s just bad design/planning.

Ruth

For Portal RV Resort: This is the nicest campground in Moab. For the most part, quiet, well-maintained, and friendly clientele and management. The dog pond is an awesome touch, and our dog enjoyed many evening swims. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the whole place felt very secure. The campground is set back from the road far enough that you get little to no traffic noise. Highly recommend!

Gigi and Pa

For Portal RV Resort: Stayed in a standard 30amp site as it was all they had available. The receptacle could use updating. Sites were a good size, the park is clean. The north/south divide is just odd. The closed in dog parks are nice. The swimming hole and dog pond looked unappealing I wouldn't let my dog in unless I could bathe it after. The surrounding grounds need work. It looks like they are doing some good upgrades with a pool etc. it's probably the nicest park in Moab based on what we saw of others while there.

Sue

For Portal RV Resort: The staff here are wonderful! We were going to be a late arrival and they called me to let me know the bathroom codes ahead of time so we could have access to the facilities, left our check in info for us on the bulletin board, and were very responsive to emails. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Nice location off the road.

Tami

For Portal RV Resort: Although very pricey this place is so nice. The staff were very nice and helped us with where to go off roading. Just remodeled so facilities are very nice (bathrooms, showers, laundry room). Great dog area including a dog pond. Our labs loved the water! Great location to the National Parks and downtown area. Even has a swimming pond area. Wifi you can't stream or download but it works good for everything else. We paid $50 a night as of 8/2017. Definitely want to come back.

Jim

For Portal RV Resort: On a two week trip, with a different stop every night, this was our favorite RV park. Will definitely stay there again.

Ray A

For Portal RV Resort: This was our second stay at Portal. Great place. Staff was very friendly. Site was paved and spacious. Stayed on the resort side. Well worth the higher fee. Convenient to parks and downtown. Stayed in a Motorhome. Would definitely stay at Portal again.
