For Hill AFB Famcamp: Very nice. Clean facilities. Laundry $1 a load and free ice. We stayed in a pull through which face you neighbors. (Not a problem, but different.). Antelope Island State Park is a must see while there.

For Hill AFB Famcamp: Great Famcamp! BEWARE of the walking paths around the outside of Famcamp as the have tumble weeds and goats head sticker bushes. Our poor dogs feet were bad and we had to keep stopping to pick them out once we realized they were on the path also. We had to use tweezers to get them out of our shoes!

For Hill AFB Famcamp: Sites are very nice and level. Directions via Google GPS takes you in the wrong gate. You need to enter by the South gate. WiFi is trrrible. Strong signal, but useless for anything but email. They make a fortune on RV fees. Upgrading the speed of their Internet would cost them less than $100 a month. They take in $2500 a day. Surely they can find the money to upgrade his critical service.

For Hill AFB Famcamp: Sites are in full sun and are very close together. Staff is wonderful. Verizon is usually only 1-2 bars. People are friendly, next to lots of green open space. Near the main gate, so lots of traffic noise at times. Near the outer fence and busy neighborhood street, too. We keep coming back because of the location and friendly staff.

Livin the Dream
For Hill AFB Famcamp: We stayed here for 2 weeks and found it to be a nice park. The entrance at south gate is very close to the FamCamp. Our site was in a pull thru which was convenient for our 39 ft. The convenience of the small commissary & BX was great so we could stock up. There is a nice paved trail that we took our dog on a long walk on that leads to a small pond which we enjoyed every morning. Be careful letting dogs walk in the ‘grassy areas’ along the trail because there are sticka-burr plants all over. Had to pull them off her paws whenever she wandered off the pavement. The noise from planes is pretty standard at most AFB and this one is no different. The price is right and we would come back again & recommend.

For Hill AFB Famcamp: As of today 20 March 2020, Hill AFB FamCamp is closed to new reservations and they will be closed to those who are there now as of April 1st at the latest. My reservation was canceled by a worker who called me, they are prepping the FamCamps to be quarantine camps for military returning from deployments so I imagine this will be standard for bases that do deploy.
