Penny

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Great over night stop. Our spot was level. Water was still off for winter. Very reasonably priced. Self registration was easy. On and off 84 was a breeze yet far enough away from the highway for good night sleep.

Jan

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Easy self registration. Beautiful large sites. Lots of space to walk your dog. Only 1 bathroom but it wasn’t a problem when we visited ( somewhat off season).i would definitely stay here again. It felt like camping because it was a very remote area, yet right off the interstate.

Knippa Kid

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Very nice quiet, place to spend the night, Access was really easy in and out. Lots of room and plenty of pull through spaces. We didn’t use the shower or restrooms. Water pressure was high so be sure to have a pressure regulator. Park is far enough from highway that the noise is muted. Price for full hookups & 50amp with military discount $30.00 (cash or check only) Was very reasonable. There is a nice area to walk and the neighboring small country lane was a pleasant walk at sunset. Self service at check in but very easy and clear instructions. The park owner came by in the late afternoon to check on everyone and we had a pleasant conversation. Very nice guy. We will stay here again next time we pass this way.

Robilee

For Earp and James Hitching Post: A gem. Just far enough from highway to be convenient yet quiet. Well maintained, clean, friendly people. Good space between sites, not crowded. Super value for full hookups and wifi. Shaded sites back in sites and spacious pull throughs. $30 for 30 amp.

Spudhorse

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Worked fine for one night. Cash or check only. No credit cards. Currently one toilet and one shower for the entire park.

Cinal

For Earp and James Hitching Post: I didn't want to leave! Not many campers here on a Sunday evening. Very quiet and peaceful. The best water pressure in 9 days of camping!! (Make sure you have a water pressure regulator, they note they may have spikes to 160! ) We don't use public restrooms so I can't help you there. But if you need a quiet peaceful night just far enough off the hi way, this one is a winner! Oh! And a nice trail around the field to walk yourself and or dogs!

Ann

For Earp and James Hitching Post: Easy interstate access with diners and fuel at exit.

Park is gravel with wide level spots. Cash or checks. Friendly owners. Nice place for an overnight without a lot of highway noise.
