For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: I loved this campground because it was so close to Zion National Park, the shuttle and nice restaurants. The campground is located behind the Quality Inn and we had access to their laundry room and pool. We actually swam in the pool one hot day while doing our laundry. The sites are all gravel, some more shaded than others. The hook ups were adequate but the wifi didn't work for us.

I would definitely stay there again.

Ramblin' Meryl

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: This place was great for its location - easy access to Zion shuttle and the good food in Springdale - and the fact that I could get a tent site walking in day-of. It had decent amenities - bathrooms and showers were clean and nice (possibly recently renovated), and having showers and coin-op laundry onsite was convenient (the NPS sites don't have either). Wifi was spotty but I could get a signal at my tent (R22) when it was working. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

However, some serious dings for tenters, which made the $40 / night plus tax a bit painful:
- The riverside tent sites are beautiful with good views - you can fall asleep to the sound of the river - and they all seemed to have some shade. BUT they are hard-packed gravel and very hard to drive a tent stake. I ended up having to tie one end to the picnic table. Bring a tarp to protect your tent and an extra sleeping cushion.
- Also near the riverside sites is a neighboring cement mixing operation. They kicked up loud machinery for about an hour at 8 am. It was very loud at R26, but not as noticeable at R22.
- There aren't really any electric outlets available for tenters. I found a couple in the laundry room and the front desk pointed me to an outdoor patio with 2 sockets.

Overall, a nice setting and totally convenient, but overpriced, and could be a no-go if your tent requires stakes.

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: The earlier reviews pretty much tell what you need to know about this place. It's all about location, which is extremely convenient for visiting Zions. It's just a short walk to the free shuttle which takes you right to the park visitors center. There you can board the park shuttle to go to the Zions Lodge and other points through the park. This place does offer some great views of the towering cliffs but it's definitely in need of updating.

cab

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: Expensive, poor Wifi. Laundry was clean. Dusty sites. Sites are not large. We had a low hanging branch which was scraping our roof, nice worker was most accommodating and removed the branch for us. When you checked in you were given tokens for shower (2 showers) and any further showers you must pay for. Great location-could walk to Zion NP Vis. Center (about 3/4 m.) or take town shuttle from entrance to campground. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and shopping.

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: It's about location here ... Weird site plan when parking ... Done back in some front in ... Cable good, WiFi terrible, pool cold :( , no hot tub ... For s resort it needs some updates , gravel lots, full hookup utilities ok .. But great location

Mull

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: Great location just in front on Zion. 55 bucks a night, charged extra for kids. Bathrooms are coin operated. Showers last about 5 mins. Place has a pool, playground and shade trees. Backs up to the virgin River. Shuttle stop near the entrance.

Sierra Dave

For Zion Canyon Campground and Quality Inn: We paid $48/nite (50 amps) and stayed 3 nights (May 2015). Cable & wi-fi included. We had a pull-thru space. Interior roads were paved with terraced, dirt sites Restrooms were crowded--right next to a large area for tent campers. Staff was friendly but not helpful. The location is great because nearness to the national park. The free shuttle to Zion park is right at the entrance to the campground. However, the road in & out of the campground was crowded with RV rigs and pedestrians. We had mud around our rig when it rained (rare event). This is a very popular place and gets a lot of traffic. There's a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance, or use the free shuttle buses to get around the area. We would stay again. Keep in mind--this is a convenient location, but it's very busy during the spring and summer.
