For Aquia Pines Campground: This is not where you want to stay if you’re looking to sit around your camp site. I don’t think I’d want to stay here with my kids. They’re are a lot of full timers here. If you just have some business in the area and need somewhere with full hookups then these fairly level gravel sites are fine. The bathrooms and laundry area are nice. The place just seems like a waste land. This park has a lot of potential but the owner is making no attempt to make this a welcoming family friendly campground. I’d stay here again if in the area because it’s the only place around.

For Aquia Pines Campground: Perhaps a two star rating is little mean considering there is almost no place to stay in the area. Management was very nice and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. However this was the most expensive campground we have ever stayed in. The gravel site was miniature and we were squeezed in against another camper

Charley

For Aquia Pines Campground: We stayed here one night traveling through the area. Very nice folks, we called ahead (Saturday and only campground in that area) early in the day and they held a pull thru for us (37 ft motor home towing a jeep). Throughout the campground the road is gravel and hilly, a little tricky getting out but we did not have to unhook the jeep. Our site was plenty long and level. Sites are tight to each other. Some what expensive ($60.00) but it is so close to D.C. It is a good campground for a short stay. We would stay here again.

Mac Richardson

For Aquia Pines Campground: We came up just for a simple get away weekend. This campground was nice, albeit a tight drive to get our 40 foot class A around the hilly windy driveways to get to our spot. The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean and tidey. Due to night time freezing temps they did cut off all the water at close, but we were informed ahead of time, and prepared for it. The water was back on by 9:00 am each morning. They have a brewery on site and offer some fun options, as well as offering mini growlers if you want to take home larger amounts. Within 10 minutes there are plenty of choices of places to eat if you don't want to cook onboard. There is also the Potomac River Winery about 4 miles away, for those interested. I don't believe people would come to Aquia Pines to vacation, but this is a nice place to stay on route or for short get always. Sites are tight, so if you need special consideration, you should let it be known at time of reservation.

Traci

For Aquia Pines Campground: Not bad considering the lack of campgrounds in the area. But way overpriced. Sites are small, gravel. Wifi was free. Satellite worked fine and Verizon signal good. Pool looked kinda old and unappealing

Mark

For Aquia Pines Campground: This is the worst park I have ever stayed at. The owner is a cheat. Service was not provided. If you have to stay here only pay for one day at a time.
