For Ohanapecosh Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: Tented at site H-11. Good space, lots of trees but not only modest privacy. Tent site was dirt and pine needles. Beautiful National Park, lots to see and do. Rangers, as usual, were fantastic.

For Ohanapecosh Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: Beautiful forested campground on river. On a bluff over the river so river access not easy (may not be possible-we didn’t try) stayed just before closing in October so only b and c loops were open but walked through rest of campground and appeared similar. Sites don’t have a lot of foliage between them but for the most part have a fair amount of separation between them. Hike to silver falls high on list of recs for area- about 2.3 miles round trip with mild elevation changes. No dump station on site despite it being listed online and on maps of CG. No ATT service enjoyed stay and worth a repeat visit

For Ohanapecosh Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: Beautiful old campground on outskirts of the national park. C loop river-view sites are beautiful if not a bit close together, but it is easy to find other very private sites throughout the campground. Still, being a bit close to your neighbor is worth it to overlook the emerald waters of the river and be lulled to sleep by its sound. Other sites in the back loops also back a smaller creek with more private feel. This is great as far as National Park camping goes. Hike from the campground to beautiful Silver Falls - that is a must. It is a bit of a drive to some of the other main areas of the park - that's the downside, but we really enjoyed our time here! There are some spots to fit maybe up to a 35', but it is not designed for your big class A. I would imagine the tent campers love that about it. We would definitely recommend this campground if you are in the area and would like to explore that side of the park!

For Ohanapecosh Campground - Mount Rainier National Park: C loop has river view & view of landslide. No problem with 29' RV. No hookups. Visitor Center closed. Very quiet on 9/22/13.
