Road To Idyll

For Starvation Lake Campground: Lovely little place to stay, for up to 5 days! The host couple are so kind, the lake is wonderful for bird watching (and hearing the cows chatter across the lake), and the sites are great. We set up at site #2 in our 30ft RV with no issues. It’s natural terrain, so it’s not perfectly level, but our site, fire ring and picnic table are in great condition. We get 1 to 2 bars of Verizon LTE and the little town of Colville, WA isn’t too far away. To stay here, you must have a Discover Pass. There is potable water available and toilets.

For Starvation Lake Campground: It's free and on a small lake. The sites are awkward and unlevel. Each has a rough picnic table and fire ring. The dock is new and excellent for fishing but, after May 31, it's 'catch & release' only. There are a couple of pull-through sites that a larger RV could manage but most are pretty tight. The road down from SR20 is about a mile of gravel, narrow but in good condition. The host couple is very friendly. I would stay there again.

PS: Requires a WA Discovery Pass.
