For Fort Spokane Campground - Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area: Really well spaced sites. Lots of trees to provide good shade most of the day, but they do not provide for privacy. We were happy with our site and access to clean water for drinking and cooking. There is a nice, clean bathroom in the central loop, plus vault toilets on the other loops. Easy access to the river and decent sized boat launch right at the entrance of the campground. The only issues we had were with yellow jackets as we ate meals. As long as we did not leave food out, they were not a problem. There are also yellow jacket traps at almost every site, which work well to deter them from coming around. Over all, we would go back in the off-season when it is less busy.
