For Kettle Falls Campground - Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area: Well maintained and managed by the National Park Service. The 3 campground loops are all paved, including the parking spots and/or pull-through turnouts at the individual sites. The sites are mostly level, although a bit small (short, narrow, not very private). Many have some partial shade from the trees, but the sites closer to the lake are least shaded and receive direct afternoon sun. Each loop has a basic but clean restroom bldg with flush toilets. Each loop has two potable freshwater spigots with hose threads near the bathroom bldg at the edge of the loop road. The RV Dump is at a turnout just inside the campground, but is some distance from the campground check-in board and loops. It can be accessed either entering or leaving the campground without checking in at the campground. There is no fee for use of the RV Dump facility. The waste inlet is in a concrete apron set below surrounding pavement level, so gravity dumping is easy. Rinse water is provided. Potable freshwater is also available at a separate spigot about 100 feet from the waste inlet. As with the rest of the campground the dump station is well maintained. As of July 2019 a project is scheduled to repave all the asphalt roads, loops, sites and parking areas in all of the NPS campgrounds on the 100+ mile length of Lake Roosevelt, beginning the first week in July. This will apparently affect all campgrounds and reservations on a rolling basis. Be sure to check the NPS website before assuming your choice of campground or your reserved site will actually be available when you arrive. The campground is just outside of Kettle Falls, a very small town with limited services. You may be wise to shop for supplies in nearby Colville instead.
