For San Juan County Park: Small, private, incredibly scenic! I hope to come back soon, hopefully with snorkle or dive gear.

For San Juan County Park: We pulled into this site with our 23ft travel trailer at almost 7pm as it began to drizzle. The man at the entrance post informed us that he only had one very difficult to enter site and we said we'd try it. As we drove through the campsite it became apparent that there were numerous, easily accessible, trailer sites available. As we started to pull our trailer in to the site allotted us the (bleep bleep bleep) man walked all the way out to the site, WITH A BLEEP TAPE MEASURE, and informed us the 25ft max was measured hitch to bumper and we were four feet over. We are now, on an island, at night, searching for a place to stay. He also mentioned that trailers were not allowed to block tents, visually... What BS! This man just didn't like trailers in his park and it was apparent from the point we arrived that he was trying to deter us... Despite the fact that we would have fit and only needed a spot overnight. I am appalled that a local park, listed in Allstays as CP, could discriminate against trailers because of the gall of one man. Now we are stranded on an island... I hope someone reads this and fires him for misinterpretation of state/city statutes and the way he was running a city park of his own will.
