For Rainier View RV Park: Rainer Adult RV Park. Cash or check only! Not big rig friendly. Under 30’ if you are desperate. Yes entrance is on a slope at the top of a very busy hill and your aren’t supposed to turn left into the camp… double yellow line due to the fast traffic in both directions so if you don’t turn there’s nowhere close down the road to turn around in an RV and come back west to the campground. The traffic comes fast up the hill and you can’t see what’s coming when you turn out. Taking chances. Split level campground. Get a running start to get out, up the hill onto the fast Meridian Ave traffic. If you have over a 30’ there is only room to Barely park your vehicle which means no place for lawn chairs to enjoy good weather or cook out unless it’s by the neighbors sewer In The back. No picnic table or fire pit. Unhook before you get here. Way Too close to neighbors and warned not to extend into your neighbors area. Twice warned slides cannot extend or put things on neighbors boundary line. Leveling was an issue too as it slopes down. Front wheels came off the ground. They closed the camp restrooms because someone “abused” them. It’s a campground. You don’t close the restrooms. You clean them. Not a good stopping point for Seattle trips as the busy Meridian Road that connects to the 5 is as bad as New York. Not even as a one nighter as it’s just too difficult to get in and out. Looks like over half Are permanent but the park is clean. Unfortunately Won’t be back. Puyallup campground is the next choice.

For Rainier View RV Park: Good news/ bad news as far as this park goes. First the good - GREAT view of Mount Rainer, when the clouds hide the view. Nice bathrooms, sites are level, full hookups. Good signal on the wifi although it was a pretty slow connection to the internet. Good cell service in the area though. Plenty of services, Walmart, restaurants, etc. On the bad news side, If you think this is a good base location to get into Seattle, it really isn’t. The traffic on Meridian Road is terrible and the traffic lights make even a short drive into a long ordeal. Even taking the train into Seattle from Sea-Tec will take 1:30 - 2:00 hours one way. The driveway is also on the crest of the hill making entry and exit with an RV somewhat of a challenge. Sites themselves are level but narrow and there aren’t any trees. If your goal is to find a place to say over, and you aren’t going to be trekking into the city, this park will suit you well.
