We stayed in the newer part near the main entry. the site was fairly level with a concrete patio and outdoor furniture with a BBQ. The parking site and roads were not paved, but it was okay. Close to the Safeway and nice sidewalks outside the campground. Leavenworth seemed a little worn and frumpy, in general. Maybe due to it being the end of the season in September.

All sorts of weird restrictions. Extremely expensive. Staff unfriendly and slightly rude.

We stayed in the older part with lots of pine trees. Bery pleasant. Lovely walk to the river. Went to the Bavarian themed town that has pedestrian only areas to walk. The KOA is adding sites and comfort stations. Station 2 is newer and really nice. Do laundry there rather than in station 1. Bathrooms nicer, too. There is a small store . Would stay again.

Loved this campground. Very convenient to Leavenworth. Our site had great shade. Lots of activity, but everything got very quiet after 9pm. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This is a great way to visit Leavenworth. It’s walking distance from the town, but the campground is in a wooded area by the river. It’s a typical family friendly KOA, though I think it’s one of the nicer KOAs I’ve been to. Checkout is at 11 am, which is earlier than most. The spacing between campers is pretty good. Overall, a great experience!

Nicest KOA I’ve seen. The setting with Mountain views is gorgeous and the landscaping is attractive and updated. All of the amenities were in full use: volleyball, basketball, soccer, outdoor movies (except for the pool which was closed for repairs). For me the best part is that a free shuttle bus to downtown Leavenworth is about a block from the park entrance. Traffic can be very busy on Hwy 2, so this can be a big benefit. I made a reservation same day and ended up with one of the premium pull-through sites, which was more expensive than I usually reserve, but very nice.

As KOA,s go, this would be on upper end. No road noise. Slight train noise. Most sites in trees. Sites 123 to 147 are more open pull thru’s. Those sites include a cement patio - not unusual- a nice table and chairs, an even nicer glider/ rocker and a very nice Weber BBQ. A washroom currently being renovated which will be welcomed.

This campground was a little bit expensive but the respite from the MT forest fires was a relief. The campground is close enough to the town to walk (about a mile) And it's close enough to see and do most of the things the town has to offer. Elec/water hook up sites were $60, but the staff was helpful and the area was clean. Would stay for short term again.

This place was great. There were so many activities for the kids to do there. We stayed just one night & we didn't even end up going into town as our kids were so entertained. We only booked about two weeks out so unfortunately ended up with a not so great site, but the rest made up for it. In addition, the staff was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend, I really enjoyed the stay here.

I don't know what else this place could do to be any better. We stayed here the second weekend of December and the staff were incredible. They were keeping an outdoor fire stoked and a game room woodstove stoked. Shuttle service to downtown Leavenworth and back was unbelievable. Staff were more than willing to help with anything. Very very pleasant experience.
