For KOA Lynden: We stayed a total of three nights, in two different campsites on September 15th through the 17th. We originally planned on one night, so we selected a pond side water and electric only site (site 96A). A bit tight to back into, but lovely with good tree coverage. Very quiet, but like most KOA’s there are a lot of lights on in the park all night for safety- even with our black out shades it was a bit annoying. The park is well kept and clean, with lush landscape for much of it. The pull-through sites were close together, as noted in other reviews, but nice. We had a change of plans and decided to stay in the area two more nights, so we opted to move to a full hookup site (site Fl1) in the area known as the “front lawn”. Good water pressure, good pedestal. There’s a review below that refers to this area as a parking lot, but they have been grooming and planting this area to improve it and it now resembles a soccer field. Not many trees so it was perfect for our Starlink system. Good AT&T as well, a solid four bars. It is near the frontage road, and there is some road noise, but it usually died down about 10 PM. Overall, a nice KOA- type camping experience, lovely grounds amd friendly staff. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

For KOA Lynden: Came here for two nights to check out the Lynden and Mt. Baker areas. Check in was easy, helpful and friendly staff. Nice little convenience store. As with prior reviews this is an older place, with tight pull throughs. No expectation of privacy, lots of kids playing and people having fun. Nice little lake with ducks to feed and fishing. Great for families and a nice pool area provided. Hookups were fine, and maintained. No cable TV provided and little over the air channels available so you have to have satellite TV if there is something you have to see on TV. We opted to not watch TV and do some reading. Not really our kind of camping because we don’t have kids. But, if it is not a destination or only a spot to sleep, it is fine. Place is kept clean, no complaints at all.

Tom

For KOA Lynden: This place is okay. It’s a standard family friendly KOA. The spots are very close together. It feels like a nice city park with camping. The tent camping area looks great. If I were to come here again with a camper, FL1 -FL10 look like the best spots with a lot of open field around them. This is a great place to stop on the way to somewhere if you need to stop. I wouldn’t make a destination of it.

For KOA Lynden: This KOA was very quiet when we visited. Our favorite time was hearing the owls hoot at night. Although many things were not available due to the pandemic, we saw staffing still maintaining the property. We would recommend this location and plan to return in the future.

For KOA Lynden: Stayed here 7/9/19 for one night prior to crossing the border into Canada. I could not have picked a better location. Being a KOA, there are lots of families with kids. Didn’t bother us at all. The park is well shaded with a lake, pool clean laundry room and showers. Very easy drive to the Sumas border crossing which took a total of 15 minutes. I would stay here again.

John

For KOA Lynden: Nice surroundings, the lake/river is very nice to walk around. Very tight sites, some in a literal parking lot. If you have kids this is a perfect park as they have lots of activities geared towards children. Hay rides, outdoor movies etc.

Seredni

For KOA Lynden: Seattlemommy is spot-on. While we didn’t stay on these spots, they should really not be rented out. Pool is loud and no shade. Our spot, 143, is much nicer. It’s under a cedar grove and far away from pool, laundry, and entrance. Sites are clean and people seem to follow park rules. This is heavily used by families and the pool which is small is packed. Up to 1/3 of the guests seem to be very long term guests. Heavily treed. Laundry is $5 for wash and dry total.
