For Lightning Pine RV Park: The only reason it got a 1 is because of the nice view. The owner is Randy. He is rude,condescending, and clueless as to how a business should be run. 3 weeks before our trip he gave away our 2 RV spots because he had a larger group wanting spots that threatened to go elsewhere if they didn't get them. We had already booked and paid for our raft trip and had no where else to stay. We had other family coming and he was all crazy saying they were full but would squeeze them in. The park was barely half full that night. When we showed up he realized we were "big rigs" and didn't want us messing up his lawn so he gave us the original spots and told the other group they couldn't have them. He then proceeded to complain about our use of our AC saying they charge a fortune for electricity! He invaded our space multiple times. He carrys around a lawn chair and a beer and plops himself down at your campsite uninvited whenever he feels like it. The bathrooms are a joke and the picnic tables are rotted. The RV sites are not large enough for 1 or 2 tents as stated. We had to tie back branches just to open our slides. To top it off at 8 am when most the campers were barely up yet he decided it was a good time to empty the garbage cans, which are mixed in with the sites, by driving a large diesel tractor to them for emptying. This is the worst place I've ever stayed.
