For Heart of the Hills Campground - Olympic National Park: Nice CG. our pull over spot was perfectly level. A lot of the spots are sloped for tent camping. Stayed Monday to Wednesday. It does fill up quickly. Bathrooms clean, potable water, trash bins and beautiful forest. Lots of old trees. Road under repair when we were there so some delays.

Just a Camper

For Heart of the Hills Campground - Olympic National Park: Basic NP campground for $20. It was hard to find a spot that we could level with our 10 leveling blocks. Adequate campground, but nothing special.

For Heart of the Hills Campground - Olympic National Park: We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to hiking in the northern part of Olympic NP. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed 4 nights in early August, including the weekend, in our 25 foot MH.

This is a pleasant CG and met our needs. There are 5 loops. All have sites that vary in size significantly with only a few that would accommodate a rig larger than 25 feet. Most sites need some leveling, most have a mixture of sun and shade throughout the day. Some are more private than others. There are no hookups. Water is available near the bathrooms or near the amphitheater. We arrived at lunchtime on a Wednesday and had several nice sites to select from. The CG filled most nights by late afternoon. There is no wifi. There is good Verizon and ATT coverage.

The drive to Hurricane Ridge is beautiful and there are several short hikes from the Visitor Center with nice views.
