For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: Definitely NOT big rig friendly. Entrance to camp area, which is poorly identified, is a angled downward and sloping driveway which requires maneuvering between cars parked on the street near rental cabins. Single lane width Driveway is lined with concrete pylons to keep you off the grass, but also don’t allow you to have any error in your steering or you will damage your truck/car/rv.

For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: The good: right on the lake, nice staff, good restaurant on site, quiet unless kids are in the lake or dogs are barking, good hiking nearby.

The bad: they do not take reservations, not sure about 50 amp availability, not big rig friendly, no sewer or dump station.

For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: Beautiful scenery, but not family friendly. We called in the morning before we headed out to get information on sites and make sure they could accommodate us. Response was plenty of sites, no reservations. When continued to ask questions about cost, and other things she seemed in a hurry then she hung up on me, in a rush.

In spite of that, and our better judgement, we headed their way. We called again asking about facilities in area like a gas station and confirming they could accommodate us. She reassured me that there was no problems and had a gas station about a mile away from their location. Upon my arrival before setting up, we stopped by the office to pay and sign in. Explained to her my pull behind size at which time she insisted I come back and pay after I pick my site and set up. After taking the time to get set up. We go back up to pay and then she informs me that any number over 4 people would have an additional charge per person. Explained we only had our family with us. She was more concerned about where they all slept and thought some would sleep in our van. She went to talk to the owners and walked outside and saw my 15 passenger van, she stopped and told me we would have to pay for 2 sites because my vehicle was so large. She wanted me to pay for additional people and over sized vehicle tripling our nights stay. None of these charges were noted on the website. And was never mentioned until after I set up my Pull behind camper. She talked to owners on the phone, and then said she would charge us for 2 sites - our camper and our 15 passenger because she insisted we were sleeping in it. We offered to park in a public area and walk down to the site to only get charged for one site, but she insisted that the owners would not allow that.

We chose to pack up and move to another site 45 minutes away. We do not recommend this establishment.

For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: 5 star location, but rated down because they don't take reservations. It's not like there is a surplus of other options nearby. This is more like the end of the road with no where much to go if they are full. Love the location and happy people... Restaurant is good too...

For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: Five stars for the location, not the amenities. Surrounded by rainforest, the largest Spruce tree in the world on site, endless walking trails, and a forty minute drive to Ruby Beach...one of the most stunning seascapes I've ever seen. They also have a sweet mom and pop store. This place is a hidden gem.

For Lake Quinaults Rain Forest Resort Village: Stunning views with location at east end of the lake. Beautiful flat sites surrounded by trees. Site #1 is at the lakes edge. The 31 sites encircle a large common center grassed area.
The downside... One, yes 1, picnic table for 31 sites and it's located in middle of the green space. And, not a single fire ring in the place.
Plenty of " to do's" nearby including the rain forest and Lake Quinalt Lodge
