For Gorge Base Camp: Quaint place. Took awhile to level. On Columbia River although no river sites. We took a chance crossing Hood River bridge and driver mirror was damaged. Bridge 9 feet wide. Passed several semis without problem but another one with extra wide mirrors got us. Great for Hood River rafting.Saw lavender at Lavender Fields in Hood with Mount Hood in background. Abundance of wineries. In Class A 40 ft motor home.

For Gorge Base Camp: Very clean showers and bathrooms. Level sites. Close to Hood River activities. Trains are pretty loud.

For Gorge Base Camp: I really liked this park. Very nice guy who runs it which is important to me. It was a relaxing place. We extended our stay because of this. Nice area for dogs, good wifi and cell service. Yes there were the trains... I personally enjoyed the train noise since I grew up with the sound of trains at night. There was a sewage smell in the air so that was a problem, all in all white salmon and hood River are pretty cool places and bridge rv is a good spot to see the towns.

For Gorge Base Camp: Nice little park, but quite tight. The trains go all day and night on one side and traffic on the other. But aside from that, very clean and accommodating.

For Gorge Base Camp: Nice little park but not for Big Rigs! We are 45ft and had a difficult time maneuvering in and out of the spot. Warning!! Do Not Cross the Hood River Bridge in a Big Rig if you want to keep your mirrors in tack! The toll booth monitors were chuckling as they took our $3 to cross and we made it across unscathed and upon checking in the sweet couple at the resort told of others who had lost mirrors coming across the bridge. They sell t-shirts for those who made it across unscathed. Very harrowing crossing the bridge! Again, a nice clean "petite" resort but not for Big Rigs!

Sugar Pie

For Gorge Base Camp: Very well kept RV park. Clean, convenient, & easily accessible. No charge for cats.

Had to drop rating a notch after listening to trains & trucks all night.
