For SunTides RV Park: Watch out for reservation refund. We reserved less than 24 hours ago and just called to tell them we had vehicle trouble and let them know we could not make it. They refused to give us any kind of a refund and said they had a 48 hour refund policy. Then should have told us when we reserved. Will not ever be using them. Not very helpful. Attitude says it all…..

For SunTides RV Park: Cannot recommend this “RV Park” as an overnight or short term base to explore the area. The primary reason is the almost constant highway noise (semi trucks) which make for restless nights. There are tall hedges which probably help the long term residents, which seemed to be the vast majority of the sites, but the few short term sites are at the park entry which has no sound protection. These entry sites are also subject to early morning and late evening headlights/noise of park residents. Their website is misleading about the park facilities which were clean/maintained but old and in need of renovation. The wide paved sites at the entry are paired with hookups between the pads, no tables or fire rings, and some pads are significantly worn making their level status questionable. There is one bath house (4 toilets - 4 showers and small laundry) for the 60 site park. The restaurant/lounge is part of the golf club and seemed to be more of a basic burger & fries with alcohol place for the golfers. We didn’t try the food because it closed at/before 5 PM during our 4 night stay. The office didn’t open/close per the advertised schedule and the desk clerk was nice but no help regarding the conditions/attractions of the local area.

For SunTides RV Park: Nicely laid out RV park with easy access and parking. Owners were so nice and even had a basket of beautiful beefsteak tomatoes from their garden to share. I think we ate 6 of them while we were there. Lots of grass between sites and a big grassy area dedicated to a dog park. We stayed in B3, a pull thru, and it did get a little sunny/ hot in the afternoon, but nothing the ac couldn’t handle. Out dogs loved laying in the cool grass under the canopy. There is a great paved walking trail that runs right by the park. On Wed- Sun there is also a good Farmers Market right near by that offers homemade, local ice cream, along with beautiful produce. My husband golfs and got several rounds in at the adjacent SunTides course, in addition to AppleTree, a short drive away. People were friendly and we ended up staying 4 nights. A little highway noise, but we slept fine. We’d come again!

For SunTides RV Park: Nice, well maintained park with shared islands of grass and trees alternating with service shared islands in the many pull-through sites. Dog area large and separated from the golf course but open to the RV park. Good exercise area if your dog is under voice control. Wi-Fi is variable at best otherwise this is a pleasant stop.

For SunTides RV Park: Nice, safe and relatively quiet park conveniently located to Yakima and recreational areas. Grassy areas between each site Unfenced dog area where dogs are exercised off leash. Many times the office is closed because the staff are working in the park. In addition phones calls are not returned in a timely manner or not returned at all.
