For Mirror Lake State Park: Mirror Lake State Park has everything you need in a compact package and a fraction of the crowds. It is very close to Wisconsin Dells and all of the attractions therein. It has the same geological features as the Dells. Rent the watercraft of your choice (including pontoon boats) from the concession. There is a classic Wisconsin supper club (Ishnala) within walking distance from the campground. Add in a beach and a fishing pier, and everything you need is there. All of the campsites are shaded and most are fairly secluded. I think our spot, 77, was the best one in the park, with our nearest neighbor more than 30 feet away. The Cliffwood loop is closer to the interstate, so noise may be an issue there. The Sandstone Ridge loop is further away and noise was minimal. The sanitary station has been upgraded recently and it features two fresh fill lines and two dump lines with plenty of waiting room. A minor disappointment was the firewood. It came in small, wrapped bundles for $6 each. We went to another state property later and was able to get twice as much wood for $5. In all, it's a very relaxing park where you can do as much or as little as you want. It's on our regular rotation.

For Mirror Lake State Park: Absolutely beautiful park and lake. My spot was large, level and private. The only down sides are some of the spots have a SEVERE incline that would make it very difficult to level up, and there’s some interstate noise.

For Mirror Lake State Park: Spacious campsites and friendly camp host. I stopped here for one night on a cross country trip. A bit pricey but quiet space for the night. Seems to be a family friendly and popular spot though not overcrowded on a Thursday night. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.

For Mirror Lake State Park: Newbie review: needed a place to crash overnight with our brand new trailer. Got there around 8pm (could have gotten in as late as 11p) and self-checked in for non-resident $35/electrical site, no water hookups. (Only a handful of electrical spaces) Spacious, had our pick of sites so stayed close to the bathhouse. Easy to back into diagonal spaces, fire ring and picnic table, with 30amp service. Showers were clean with good pressure, toilets too. Easy access to dump station and black water flush hose at dump station. On the way in, access to potable water. Trash bins near the dump station as you leave. Super quiet on a Monday in mid-May before Memorial Day weekend.
