For Forest County Veterans Memorial Park: If I could put a zero rating , I would. The woman who manages the park is the worst person we have encountered in over 8000 miles and 53 rv parks. It shocked us as to how rude and condescending a person could be at this Veterans park. We will absolutely never be back and will advise others to steer clear of her harassment.

For Forest County Veterans Memorial Park: A great little park right on the lake with decent facilities. Some seasonal sites but lots of sites for travelers. Good facilities but pay showers that didn’t give a whole lot of times for $1. Large grassy sites with elevated gravel pads that were level. Liked the feel of the place, hosts helpful and friendly, would happily stay again, especially at $20 per night.

For Forest County Veterans Memorial Park: Nice park, but LOTS of water today. "Fastest route" took us south on the west side of lake to a dead end, so we returned north and easily located the park on the east shore road .

Corinne

For Forest County Veterans Memorial Park: Grassy, open campground with lots of room between sites. Well maintained. Some sites directly on the lake. Mix of seasonal and nightly campers. No problem with our 40' MH plus tow. They take dogs but don't really want them. Seems some pet owners were inconsiderate, so dogs must be on the leach at all times and are restricted to their camp site or the roads. Dog owners, let's help each other out and control 11am, OUT- pooches and for heavens sake pick up the poop.
