Kat

For Country View Campground: Family run campground, friendly and helpful owners Owner cleans the bathrooms/ showers herself every morning! (Something we appreciated as we spent a night of tornado warnings in the bathhouse). Mixed campers from local families enjoying a weekend, longer term visiting nurses, folks wanting to be nearer medical facilities in Milwaukee and those like us.... visiting the state. We bookended our stay. 3 nights each side. Great experience. Sites are a good size. Will definitely stay again next year!

For Country View Campground: This park has a great setting on top of a hill with constant breeze and good views. The restrooms and showers are modern and very clean. The staff is friendly and responsive.Overall one of the best parks we have stayed in in the last three years.

Cathy

For Country View Campground: We stayed here for at least 3 weeks last summer. We had an RV spot towards the bottom of the hill so only had close neighbors on one side which was nice. Looked out on a large grassy area that was designed for tents but it remained empty the whole time. Fun to watch the fireflies come out at night there. The spot did require a couple blocks to level but no big deal for our 5th wheel. Park was kept very clean, swimming pool was an added bonus. Another big plus was the nearby farm vegetable stand to pick up fresh items every day.

Dan

For Country View Campground: Not really a get back to nature camping area. Lots of pull throughs, full hookups but pretty close to one another. This place is mostly family get together, hang out, drink beer around campfire type RVing. Lots of radios blaring, people talking loud.
10pm is quiet time and everyone respected that, and the staff are super nice. They have goats and pony's for kids to pet. Pool is pretty nice. It's in the middle of no where but the layout just does let you see any of the countryside from most of the spots. If you want to meet nice people, drink and listen to radios blaring this is a great place.

Jok

For Country View Campground: Great campground. Leveling can be difficult but the staff are so helpful and friendly. No 50 amp if you need that. It's the best place within an hour of Milwaukee.

For Country View Campground: This is a very nice campgroind and the only decent campground within a hour of Milwaukee. Beautiful clean pool and nice playground. It's like life used to be... simple fun. Great place for extened stay in summer.

Be aware of concerts at Alpine Valley, price higher and atmosphere changing to party time.

Susan

For Country View Campground: The campground has an indoor game area, store and pool. The campgrounds themselves though are strange. One flat area has big campers (semi permanent?) all crammed together with little landscaping. Then there's a field with electric and water. That area has steep slopes that would take a skill level of Master to level out a camper. The wooded area is heavily overgrown with no hook ups.
