For State Fair of West Virginia Campground: This campground is way overpriced. I reserved a spot. Space South335. Somebody else was in it. Because the spaces are not marked correctly and there is no person on site we had to park in another spot. No bathrooms open, no showers, and no laundry as listed. This is definitely not worth 43.00 a night.

For State Fair of West Virginia Campground: The South Lot was a tough grassy old field, the hookups were poorly placed and in bad condition. The power panels were very difficult to identify site numbers. Coming in after nightfall is a challenge, make sure it’s during business hours when you arrive. Location is ideal for activities on the fairgrounds and there numerous restaurants and places to shop a short drive away. The staff were very nice via phone call, but never saw any personnel during our two night stay.

For State Fair of West Virginia Campground: Across the road from fairgrounds so don’t fall for GPS directions. South CG is on the right. Grass no rock or pavement so bring pads in case of rain. 50amp is on outer area, 30 amp in middle. Nice quiet location.

For State Fair of West Virginia Campground: Look for South Lot across from Fairgrounds. Grassy field with all utilities. No access to restrooms. We were early season and no one else here. Don't know where the office is.

For State Fair of West Virginia Campground: Basic hookups, no amenities. Large, flat grassy field, sewer, water, 30 amp. Set up for all backins...but nearly empty when we were there and we stayed hooked on, so really took two spots. Acres of grass for a long walk in beautiful surroundings. Tranquil! But we were told that 700 Air Streams were coming in over the next week or so. Glad we won't be there then! Not where AllStays has it marked on the map, but nearby. Look for South Lot Camping, on the right as you pass the main Fair Bldgs.
