For Trailer Center Campground: Highly recommend this campground if you are looking for an overnight stay. Easy to get to right off Interstate 77. Sites offer water and 30amp service and is next to the river. Beatiful scenery. Has no dump but there is one near by.

For Trailer Center Campground: No frills, but nice. Camp behind an RV repair shop the owner has had for 50 years. Great place to stay over, 30 amp, water. though some electric looks worn. 35’ 5th wheel found a spot did not have to unhook, River was nice. Not crowded. Had problems with slide out, mechanics not at shop, owner let me borrow tools! Very nice and accommodating. If u want a resort, don’t stay here. But if u want a nice safe friendly stop it’s great would stay again. Must b self contained. $34

For Trailer Center Campground: Road in is a bit challenging, but it’s only a mile off 77. Uncrowded and no frills. Great for overnighting. Bert guided us right into a level grassy spot (30 amp and city water) and then changed our windshield wipers and adjusted the arm for us. Two birds with one stone! Also enjoyed sitting in the glider along the river for a little birdwatching. We would definitely stop again.

Knitsabout

For Trailer Center Campground: Nicely kept little park behind repair shop, on the banks of the river which is visible from sites 1&2. $32 plus tax. Owner super nice and shop well stocked with parts for repair, which was convenient as we blew a bulb in a reading light over the bed. Convenient to 77 about a mile down a winding road a little scary after dark, but not much traffic, pretty in the daylight. Would stop again.

DaVida

For Trailer Center Campground: Self-contained RVs only since there is no longer a bathhouse. This very old campground was a convenient stopping place for north-south travelers - before interstates made many miles easier to travel. Easy off and on I77. Owners are very accommodating. The RV repair shop and store up front by the road and campsites are next to the muddy Kanawha River. Few shade trees, grassy sites, water and electric, dump site available. Closed up inside with AC & Pandora playing, highway noise was tolerable.

For Trailer Center Campground: We have stayed at this little gem of a campground twice in the last 10 days. Once on our way to northern Ohio, and now on our way back to Central Florida. There is nothing luxurious about this campground, which has nine operative sites with 30 amp power and water. There are no full hook ups, but they do have a dump station. The campground is right on the Kanawha River and adjacent to I 77. Bert, who runs the place, makes sure that there are no long termers here, so it is a perfect spot for overnighting on your way north or south on the interstate. It’s very quiet for being so close to I 77, the price is right, and we have been treated wonderfully by our host every time we have pulled in. We have also met some wonderful fellow travelers who stop here when they are passing through on their way north or south. There is nothing glamorous about it, but it gets the job done in fine fashion, and I highly recommend it for a quick overnighter.
